The Department of Public Works is informing the community of a traffic light outage at the intersection of Veterans Drive and Edward Wilmot Blyden Blvd – adjacent to the Lucinda Millin Home. The traffic light is currently offline today for system upgrades.
Motorists are asked to traverse the area with extreme caution and utilize the rules of a four-way stop, which goes into effect when traffic lights at an intersection are inoperable. In a fourway stop, all drivers must stop at the intersection, then proceed in the order they arrived.
