The U.S. Virgin Islands Tourism Department and the Division of Festivals have set the official dates for the 2025–26 St. Croix Crucian Christmas Festival. The celebration will run from Dec. 26 through Jan. 3, 2026, showcasing music, food, parades, and community spirit, a press release announced.
This year’s theme, “Timeless Traditions in Every Mix,” will guide a schedule of signature events, including the Princess and Miss St. Croix Pageants, Calypso Monarch, Soca Monarch, Food Fair, and the island’s famed J’ouvert morning. The festival will culminate with two parades through Christiansted — the Children’s Parade on Jan. 2 and the Adults Parade on Jan. 3 — followed by fireworks at Last Lap Village Night, according to the press release.
“I am thrilled to welcome everyone, from the Virgin Islands diaspora to first-time visitors, to experience the magic of the Crucian Christmas Festival,” said Tourism Commissioner Jennifer Matarangas-King. “St. Croix’s culture is one of vast pride and diverse distinction, and this year’s festival will again deliver unforgettable music, food, and entertainment while celebrating the traditions that make our island so unique.”
The Festival Village will open Dec. 29 and run nightly through Jan. 3, featuring free performances from top local, regional, and international artists. Visitors can also experience Crucian cuisine at the Food Fair, shop for local arts and crafts, and enjoy family-friendly activities throughout the nine-day event, the press release stated.
