The Virgin Islands Police Department arrested 18-year-old Janijah Benjamin on Dec. 4 in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation on St. Thomas, the department announced.
Police said Benjamin was located and taken into custody through coordinated efforts by responding officers. He is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, grand larceny and auto collision, and his bail was set at $25,000.
