PROJECT SYNOPSIS:
The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide professional Construction Management (CM) Services for the reconstruction of the Reichhold Center for the Arts. This facility, significantly damaged during the hurricanes, is currently under construction. The CM provider will oversee daily activities, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure timely, cost-effective progress in line with code requirements and owner expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Proposers must have 12–15 years of relevant experience in construction oversight and demonstrate capability in the following areas:

- Reading and interpreting complex construction drawings
- Oversight of inspections and adherence to DPNR, zoning, and fire code requirements
- Tracking project progress and controlling schedules
- Managing contractor communications and resolving project issues
- Reviewing payment requests and change orders
- Coordinating close-out procedures and preparing punch lists
- Drafting reports and cost estimates for added work
- Using project management software for daily reporting and tracking
Proposals must include:
• Resumes and proof of qualifications
• List of similar completed projects
• Weekly work scope and estimated hours
• Hourly rate sheet and list of reimbursable costs
