Shango Iranie Allick Jr. was taken into custody on June 25 and charged in connection with an August 2024 armed robbery and a January 2025 shooting in Frederiksted, according to the police report.
The first incident occurred on Aug. 3, 2024, at approximately 11:29 p.m., when two individuals were robbed at gunpoint near the Frederiksted Credit Union. The investigation identified Allick as a suspect in both cases. At the time of the offenses, he was a minor. Arrest warrants were issued through the Family Court Division, and he was located off-island and returned to the territory, the report stated.
On June 13, the Family Court Division held a transfer hearing in which Allick was bound over to face adult charges, it said.
