After making waves at the Second Annual Women of Resilience Conference in July, the Men’s Panel is back—this time with a renewed mission: to answer the powerful, lingering questions left on the table. The follow-up event, hosted by Janette Millin Young, will take place on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, from 7:00–9:00 p.m. and will be livestreamed free to the public on the Virgin Islands Source Facebook and YouTube channels.
The July panel sparked a robust and emotional conversation about leadership, resilience, and men’s roles in community building. But as moderator Millin Young explained, it wasn’t enough.
“At the conference, the men got us thinking,” she said. “But the ladies left with burning questions. This event is about giving those questions the spotlight and hearing honest answers from our male leaders.”
Returning to the stage are panelists Ret. Chief Master Sgt. Cuteill Young, Dr. Malik Sekou, and Kai Nielsen, who will expand on the conversation and offer deeper insight into how men navigate vulnerability, responsibility, and change—both personally and professionally. The event also promises space for women’s voices through real-time questions submitted in the livestream comments.
The panel is produced by Millin Young Consulting in partnership with the Virgin Islands Source and TV2, with support from One Communications, whose continued commitment to civic dialogue ensures important conversations are accessible across the Virgin Islands. To participate in the conversation, simply tune in and submit your questions in the livestream chat.
