At approximately 2:02 a.m. on Sunday, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report from the staff at the Juan F. Luis Hospital on St. Croix regarding an off-duty police officer who arrived at the Emergency Room seeking medical assistance for a gunshot wound, according to the Virgin Islands Police Department.
