Caribbean POSH Weekend 2025 takes over Yacht Haven Grande this Friday through Sunday, bringing with it three days of inspiration, networking, and culture-driven celebration. Now in its ninth year, the signature event continues to build momentum as a must-attend experience for women across the region and diaspora—blending bold conversations with high-style moments and unapologetic Caribbean pride.
At the heart of the weekend is the Caribbean POSH ICON Woman Awards, taking place Friday, June 27. The awards honor trailblazers across 17 categories—from media and music to agriculture and advocacy. This year’s star-studded honorees include Cedella Marley, CEO of the Bob Marley Group of Companies and cultural ambassador; acclaimed actress and activist Aisha Hinds; internationally celebrated soca artist Patrice Roberts; and Keithlin Caroo-Afrifa, a fierce advocate for food sovereignty and founder of Helen’s Daughters. With more than 200 nominees representing countries like Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, the British Virgin Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, the awards have become a powerful, community-driven platform for honoring the women shaping the Caribbean’s future.
A Celebration of Power, Culture, and Connection
But the weekend is about more than awards—it’s a movement rooted in connection, culture, and Caribbean brilliance. On Saturday, June 28, the much-anticipated POSHgirl POWER Brunch promises high-impact conversation and meaningful connection, headlined by Teri Helenese, the U.S. Virgin Islands’ Director of State-Federal Relations. Her keynote address, “Empowering Growth: The Future of Caribbean Business in a Changing World,” will explore how Caribbean women can navigate innovation and policy to scale their influence across borders.
The day also features a dynamic panel discussion—“The Power, Presence & Cultural Currency Shaping the Future of Caribbean Influence”—with thought leaders like Assistant Tourism Commissioner Alani Henneman joining the conversation. Attendees can expect mimosas, curated POSH swag bags, giveaways (including a weekend stay at Long Bay Beach Resort, BVI), and a space designed to elevate conversation, creativity, and collaboration.
Closing out the weekend is the beloved PINK Sunday Sunset Sail on June 29—a chic, feel-good gathering that invites guests to toast the experience on the Caribbean Sea. Whether you’re showing up solo or with your bestie (there’s even a “Me and My Bestie” package), the event promises something unforgettable for everyone. Businesses can also opt for branded corporate experiences—perfect for team building, networking, or client appreciation.
The weekend also highlights regional partnerships, like the one with Que Sera Farms, led by Virgin Islands entrepreneur Shelli Brin, who’s redefining food sovereignty through regenerative agriculture and her beloved Scoops and Brew café. Her work, which blends community, land-based living, and sustainable food systems, embodies the kind of Caribbean innovation Caribbean POSH aims to spotlight.
“We’re not just hosting an event—we’re helping shape a more connected, empowered Caribbean future,” said founder and CEO Janette Brin, a native of the Virgin Islands whose bold vision continues to drive the platform’s expansion. “These are tough economic times, but that’s exactly why events like this matter. We’re investing in each other, in our voices, and in our collective power.”
