The Red Sox are finalizing a trade to acquire left-hander Garrett Crochet from the White Sox in exchange for four prospects, sources told ESPN.

Sources told ESPN that the “ball is in [Bill] Belichick’s court” and that North Carolina officials are on board with him becoming the coach. A resolution is expected in the near future, sources said.
