John Beam, the former Laney Eagles head coach who was featured in the Netflix documentary series “Last Chance U,” was taken to a hospital after he was shot on campus Thursday.

Kennard Davis Jr., who is a starter for a top-10 BYU squad this season, was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a crash in Provo, Utah, on Thursday, according to a release from local police.
