V.I. Lottery Reopens Sponsorship and Funding Program to Support Community Initiatives

The Virgin Islands Lottery has announced the reopening of its Community Sponsorship and Funding Program, a longstanding initiative aimed at strengthening community life by financially supporting local organizations, youth enrichment activities, sports programs, music and arts incentives, and government agencies.

The program has historically played a significant role in expanding opportunities for Virgin Islanders, with sponsorship funds directed toward cultural, educational, and social projects across the territory. This year alone, the Lottery reports it has already partnered with 132 organizations, underscoring its broad reach and continued commitment to community development.

“We look forward to partnering with passionate organizations dedicated to these admirable causes,” said Lottery Director Raymond Williams, noting that the agency remains committed to fostering community growth and enhancing the territory’s cultural and educational landscapes.

Eligible organizations seeking funding are encouraged to apply by completing the official sponsorship request form available on the Lottery’s website. Completed forms will be reviewed by the agency as it evaluates proposals for financial assistance.

The Lottery stressed that its support is not limited to any single sector, but rather extends to initiatives that deliver innovative and impactful outcomes. Previous sponsorships have included a wide variety of programs ranging from youth and sports initiatives to arts and music events that highlight the cultural vibrancy of the Virgin Islands.

Community organizations or agencies with questions regarding the application process are invited to contact the Lottery’s Marketing Department for additional information.
