ST. CROIX — Women In Business VI & Caribbean, Inc. (WIBVIC) has announced the launch of the Skills2Profit Accelerator Program, a 12-week initiative aimed at helping women in underserved communities discover their talents, gain confidence, and turn their skills into sustainable sources of income .

Set to begin on Saturday, September 13, 2025, the program will run every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Sunny Isle Baptist Church Multipurpose Center. To ensure accessibility, free childcare services and light refreshments will be provided for participants with children between the ages of 4 and 12 .
The initiative is supported by Diageo USVI and the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI), organizations known for their ongoing commitment to uplifting communities throughout the territory. Their backing allows the program to provide high-quality resources and training opportunities .
Skills2Profit will feature a strong lineup of presenters, including Laura Forbes, Dr. Jewel Owen, Geraldine Vaval, ESQ, Genevieve Whitaker, Minerva Delauney, Aisha-Jamila Mussington, Gemaine Owen MD, Christine Mason, and other notable businesswomen and professionals. The sessions will cover practical topics such as business planning, financial literacy, digital skills, customer service, and personal growth .
The program will conclude on Saturday, November 22, 2025, with a Market Day Showcase at the Sidnee Lee Theatre, where participants will display and sell their products and services to the wider community.

It’s about more than survival—it’s about thriving, building legacies, and financial independence.
