A two-vehicle accident involving a motor scooter occurred shortly before 5 p.m. last Thursday near the Road Town roundabout on the Blackburn Highway.
Shortly thereafter, an ambulance responded to the scene, driving against oncoming traffic to reach the location where a small crowd gathered.
Across the median, a scooter lay on its side in the roadway behind a red Toyota, blocking one lane of eastbound traffic.
One male was transported to the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital for treatment and later released, according to the Police Information Office.
Police said Tuesday that investigations were ongoing.
