For the first time, the reigning Miss Universe will set foot in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Miss Universe U.S. Virgin Islands Organization has announced that Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark, Miss Universe 2024, will travel to the territory as part of the journey to crown the next Miss Universe U.S. Virgin Islands.

For security and logistical reasons, organizers have not disclosed the exact arrival date of Miss Universe. Once she is in the territory, the community will be informed and provided with a schedule of appearances, including her meeting with Governor Albert Bryan Jr.
CEO and National Director Jaielean Jagrup expressed gratitude to the Miss Universe USVI team, the Miss Universe Organization, Carambola Beach Resort, Governor Bryan, the Virgin Islands Lottery, the Department of Tourism, and community sponsors for supporting the national pageant. “We are excited to have the reigning Miss Universe visit our home to experience authentic Virgin Islands culture,” Jagrup said. “We look forward to crowning our next Miss Universe USVI, as we have envisioned and proclaimed the capturing of the international crown at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand on November 21.”
Three contestants — Britanny Robinson, Kyandra Smith, and Orealia Thomas — will represent the Virgin Islands in the 2025 competition. The visit gives them a chance to see firsthand what it takes to hold the crown while preparing for their own opportunity to compete on the international stage.
The event, titled “Empowered Horizons: Miss Universe U.S. Virgin Islands 2025,” will take place on St. Croix, with past and present queens joining the wider community for the celebration. Tickets are currently available at missuniversevi.com.
