The V.I. Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs has released findings from its most recent fuel survey conducted across the U.S. Virgin Islands for the week of October 27, 2024, providing insight into average and lowest fuel prices by island.
The survey highlights current fuel costs for regular, premium, and diesel across St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John, with the goal of promoting transparency and informing consumers about the best prices in the territory.
St. Croix Fuel Prices
Average Prices:
Regular: $3.996 per gallon
Premium: $4.397 per gallon
Diesel: $4.674 per gallon
Lowest Prices:
Regular: $3.949 at Fill & Chill Service Station
Premium: $4.199 at several stations, including Titan Service Station, Five Corners, G-Max, One Love Golden Rock, Budget, Island Petroleum, and Pit Stop
Diesel: $3.999 at Titan and Falcon Service Stations
St. Thomas Fuel Prices
Average Prices:
Regular: $4.840 per gallon
Premium: $5.369 per gallon
Diesel: $5.912 per gallon
Lowest Prices:
Regular: $4.699 at stations including 1st Stop, Giant Gas, Home Town, Ali Baba, Petrus Frenchtown, and RaceTrack
Premium: $5.199 at 1st Stop, Giant Gas, Home Town, Ali Baba, and RaceTrack
Diesel: $5.799 at 1st Stop, Giant Gas, and RaceTrack East

The DLCA reminds fuel station operators of the legal requirement to publicly display the minimum octane rating, retail price per gallon, and applicable taxes for each fuel blend.
