The Anderson Stewart Family Foundation has announced a $1 million donation to the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI), formalizing the family’s long-standing commitment to the territory and laying the groundwork for permanent philanthropic support throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The contribution will establish a donor-advised fund managed by CFVI. Unlike traditional one-time grants, the fund is structured to grow over time, using investment income to support local nonprofit organizations across the Virgin Islands in perpetuity.
